How QuantumHive (operated by Quantumhive IT) collects, protects, uses, and respects your data across our cloud social automation platform and integrations.
1. Overview & Application Identity
This Privacy Policy describes how QuantumHive ("the App", "our Application", "the Service"), developed and operated by Quantumhive IT ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), located online at https://quantumhive.it.com, collects, handles, stores, and protects user information.
QuantumHive is a professional multi-channel social media automation, media vault, and content planning platform. By creating an account, accessing our service, or connecting external social channels (such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X), you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the QuantumHive application or connect your social accounts.
2. TikTok API Integration & Data Collected
QuantumHive integrates with TikTok using official developer APIs, including the TikTok Login Kit and TikTok Content Posting API. We strictly adhere to the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and TikTok Community Guidelines.
When you connect your TikTok account to QuantumHive, we only request the permissions necessary to provide our social publishing and analytics features. Below is the full description of each TikTok scope requested and how the data is utilized:
Data Collected: TikTok unique OpenID and UnionID.
Purpose & Use: Identifies your unique TikTok profile on QuantumHive to associate your authorized workspace with your TikTok account. Enables secure OAuth connection without ever asking for your TikTok password.
Data Collected: TikTok username, display name, avatar thumbnail/large URLs, profile deep link, and verification badge status.
Purpose & Use: Displays your TikTok identity within the QuantumHive Channel Manager and publishing calendar, allowing you to easily recognize and select your TikTok destination for post scheduling.
Data Collected: Follower count, following count, total likes count, and public video count.
Purpose & Use: Displays performance statistics within your private QuantumHive channel dashboard so you can monitor your account growth and engagement over time.
Data Collected: List of public videos posted to your account (video IDs, titles, descriptions, cover image URLs, duration, dimensions, view counts, like counts, share counts, comment counts, and share URLs).
Purpose & Use: Displays your published video history inside the QuantumHive publishing calendar and media manager, allowing you to review performance and prevent accidental duplicate postings.
Data Handled: Video media files that you choose to upload for scheduling.
Purpose & Use: Requests an authorized upload destination from TikTok's Content Posting API and transfers your scheduled video file directly to TikTok's servers.
Data Handled: Post caption/title, privacy level (PUBLIC, MUTUAL_FOLLOW_FRIENDS, SELF_ONLY), interaction options (allow comments, duets, stitches), and commercial disclosure tags.
Purpose & Use: Publishes the video or photo post to your TikTok feed at the date and time explicitly configured by you in QuantumHive. Posts are published strictly upon user scheduling.
3. Password Protection & Token Encryption
QuantumHive will never request, collect, or store your TikTok password or social account credentials.
All access to your TikTok account is facilitated through TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 flow. When you authorize QuantumHive, TikTok issues encrypted OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens. In QuantumHive:
- Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
- All API communications with TikTok and our servers are transmitted using modern TLS 1.3 encryption.
- Tokens are strictly scoped to the capabilities you have approved and are never exposed to other users.
4. Zero Data Sale & Sharing Policy
Quantumhive IT does not sell, rent, lease, trade, or monetize your personal information or TikTok data under any circumstances.
Your data is never shared with third-party marketers, advertisers, or data brokers. Data retrieved via TikTok APIs is used solely and exclusively to deliver the functionality of QuantumHive (scheduling posts, uploading videos, and displaying your channel statistics) as requested by you.
5. Data Retention, Disconnection & Deletion
We believe users must have full control over their data at all times:
A. How long we retain data:
TikTok profile metadata and access tokens are retained only for as long as your TikTok account remains actively connected inside QuantumHive. Media files scheduled for publishing are retained in your private cloud storage according to your account tier and can be deleted by you at any moment.
B. In-App Disconnection:
You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from within QuantumHive by navigating to Channels > TikTok Profiles and clicking Disconnect / Remove. Upon disconnection, stored access tokens and channel sync records are permanently removed from our active database.
C. Revocation via TikTok App:
You can also revoke QuantumHive's permissions directly from TikTok: Open your TikTok App > Profile > Settings and privacy > Security > Manage app permissions > QuantumHive > Remove Access.
D. Data Deletion Requests:
If you wish to request complete deletion of all personal information, uploaded media, and profile data from our systems, simply contact our privacy team at support@quantumhive.it.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process and confirm complete deletion within 30 days.
6. Your Legal Rights (GDPR, CCPA & Global Rights)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal information QuantumHive holds about you.
- Right to Rectification: You can correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to Be Forgotten"): You can request permanent deletion of your data.
- Right to Restriction of Processing: You can request that we restrict processing under certain conditions.
- Right to Data Portability: You can request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw consent for TikTok or social media processing at any time.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
QuantumHive is strictly designed for individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16/18 where applicable). If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please notify us at support@quantumhive.it.com, and we will promptly delete such information.
